5 things you need to think about when implementing a FastStats Installation

1. Project Ownership

Project needs to be marketing / marketing analysis team led from the client side in order to help ensure that the FastStats system can help the organisation meets its marketing objectives.

2. Focus

Apteco FastStats

Need to really think about what data is brought into the FastStats system, it is too easy to suggest we need every variable and piece of information. It should be an opportunity to focus on the data that is really needed and an opportunity to really think through the metrics you need to focus on.

3. Widening Access

It lowers the skills requirement for accessing data, allowing non-technical marketers to get much closer to the data (and therefore customer) – such wider access will mean you need to think about access control and security, and also report distribution.

4. Time for Insight

The skills requirement and workload profile of the data services / analyst team will change. There will be a shift from time consuming SQL data selections to having more time for classical analysis. There will be less of a need to recruit people with SQL skills.

5. Catalyst for Change

It can be a catalyst to drive strategic change, allowing the organisation gain a 360 degree view of its customers. Therefore facilitating the development of correct marketing strategies which are relevant to specific customer groups. This is a key element of any business case, yet is very difficult to put a £££ value to.
