Opt-Ins Explained

What is considered an Opt-In?

An opt-in user is someone who is asking to receive your communications via a tick box or inputting their details. Typically, they are signing up to a mailing list, newsletter or advertising material.

It’s key to measure the number of people who have agreed to receive communications from your brand. In addition, since the GDPR Compliance Act has come in, obtaining a signature (in the form of a tick box) is super important.

How do I get more Opt-Ins?

Anyone who has given you consent and are ticking the box to say they are happy to hear from your brand in their email inbox, or share their personal details with you on file are classed as an Opt-In.

Furthermore,  it’s possible to obtain sign-ups by implementing webforms, pop-ups, and surveys.
